Connect to Docusign no-code
Use templates to create drafts and send envelopes by email using a no-code Docusign step.
Before you begin
- In your Next Matter portal, go to Automations library, click Connect in the Docusign app tile, and connect with your Docusign credentials.
Send envelope from template
- Click Workflows > + Create new... > Create a new workflow and give your workflow a name. If you have a workflow ready, click ... > Edit workflow.
- Click + Add step and select Integrations > Docusign.
- Click the step and click Configure integration.
- Select Create envelope from Template in Docusign operation.
- Select the account, template and enter the recipients of the document.
- To fill in the template with specific details, enter the name of the field and the value (what you want to fill the field with).
- Select the Status for the document. You can either select to send the document or keep it as a draft. If you select to send the document, enter the email title and summary so the recipients know what to expect. The document will be added as an attachment.
If you keep the default None as Status, the document will still be sent out.
- Select the variables to use in later steps.
- Save your changes.
