User-defined deadlines / priority
When you configure your workflow, you might want to ask users to set their own deadlines and define the priority of the workflow. You can do it if you start your instance manually or the instance is recurring.
When you start a workflow manually or create a recurring workflow, you can ask the person starting the workflow to set a deadline and a process priority.
- Open Workflows.
- Click a workflow to open the overview.
- In Workflow start options, click Manual.
- Decide on the deadline and priority settings.
If you set both at Require, the user triggering the instance will have to select the priority from the dropdown and set a deadline before they can start the instance.
