Yes, you can add the possibility to leave a note or comment in any step by inserting a Text Input action and labeling it accordingly.

  1. Navigate to the editor of the process that you want to edit

  2. Click on +Add Action on any step and select "Text Input"

  3. Rename the text input to Comment / Note and mark it as optional if the comment is not required

  4. Repeat for any other steps where you want to provide the option to comments for your colleagues

Tip: When you run an instance of the process and click on "Save" instead of complete then the comment is saved and visible the next time you continue working on the process.

These notes become part of the process, visible for everyone even after completion, which is useful to keep track of what happened even when a couple of weeks or months have passed.

As a workaround, some customers insert Instruction actions in a draft and add the comment there. The instruction action can be remove once the draft is completed.
