Access and Login
Access to the app
Next Matter is a web application, which can be reached from all common browsers on desktop and mobile devices at
Access is restricted to users that were invited to Next Matter. Reach out to a Next Matter administrator in your organization / company to receive access.
Once invited, you will immediately receive an invitation email that allows you to activate your account (check your spam folder if you didn't receive it within a few minutes).
The login screen looks similar to the screenshot below.

There are three ways to log in
Email address + password
Sign in with Google Login with a GSuite email address matching the email address of the invitation
Sign in with a Microsoft account
Password Settings
It is possible to set a new password (even if you accepted the invite with Google sign in originally). Simply hit "Forgot password" to define a new password.
Profile Settings
You can access your personal user profile settings by navigating to the avatar in the top right corner (three dots on mobile) and then "Profile Settings".

General Settings
You can change your first and last name yourself. Email address changes need to be done by Next Matter support.
Your profile picture is automatically synchronized with your google profile picture if you used Google Login. If you would like to have a custom avatar, please send it to Next Matter customer support (squared format).
(Email) Notifications
You can configure your email and browser notifications for steps that are assigned to you or teams that you are part of. It is also possible to configure your daily/weekly briefings and notifications for instances where you are the process lead.
