# Connect to Docusign no-code

> Use templates to create drafts and send envelopes by email using a no-code Docusign step.

## Before you begin

* In your Next Matter portal, go to **Automations library**, click **Connect** in the **Docusign** app tile, and connect with your Docusign credentials.

## Send envelope from template

1. Click **Workflows > + Create new\... > Create a new workflow** and give your workflow a name. If you have a workflow ready, click **... > Edit workflow**.
2. Click **+ Add step** and select **Integrations > Docusign**.
3. Click the step and click **Configure integration**.
4. Select **Create envelope from Template** in **Docusign operation**.
5. Select the account, template and enter the recipients of the document.
6. To fill in the template with specific details, enter the name of the field and the value (what you want to fill the field with).
7. Select the **Status** for the document. You can either select to send the document or keep it as a draft. If you select to send the document, enter the email title and summary so the recipients know what to expect. The document will be added as an attachment.

  If you keep the default **None** as **Status**, the document will still be sent out.

8. Select the variables to use in later steps.
9. Save your changes.
